Asahi Shuzo — the brewery behind the iconic Dassai — took a bold leap and built a new home for their craft in the Hudson Valley, New York. 

Renowned for its depth and complexity of flavor, Dassai Blue works exclusively with the “King of sake rice” Yamada Nishiki to produce Junmai Daiginjo, the highest grade sake in the world.

Dassai Blue Type 50 is the result: the same obsessive Junmai Daiginjo standard, reimagined with Yamada Nishiki rice and New York's own pristine spring water. Candied pineapple, lemon, vanilla, and cantaloupe swirl together with a subtle finish — proof that Dassai's philosophy travels well.
